Process

A Systematic Approach

There is a reason we have centered everything we do on the financial planning process. It makes sense to take a systematic approach that takes into account every aspect of your financial life. Having a financial plan is akin to having a roadmap to how, where, when, and why you will save (or spend) money.

Here is a brief overview of our process:

Introductory Conversation

Before we begin, we have to determine whether we are a good fit for each other. In this introductory call (or in-person meeting) we can discuss your needs, our services, and how we might potentially work together.

In-depth Interview

Once we have established that we will be working together, we will engage in a deep interview where we can gather all the pertinent facts about your finances. This data will constitute the inputs we need to enter into our modeling software in order to determine the course of your financial plan.

Present Findings

Once we have developed your plan, we will present our findings. Please know that this is intended to be a dialogue. We welcome your feedback on our ideas. It is here that we can tweak and make changes until you are comfortable with a plan you would like to implement.

Deliver the Plan

Once we have come to an agreement on your roadmap, we will deliver your plan documents to you.

*Implementation

Many of our clients choose to implement some of the recommended action steps with us. We will be happy to collaborate with your existing advisors. We also have an extensive network of allied advisors to whom we can refer you.

**Monitoring and Review

Even the best-laid plans need oversight. If there is one thing we know, it’s that life changes constantly. During the year, we make sure to stay in touch with you to monitor your progress and adjust accordingly wherever necessary.

Financial plan recommendations can be implemented with the advisor of your choosing. Implementation of specific products or services may result in commissions or fees outside of the financial planning fee.

**Review:** Periodic reviews or updates require a new agreement and may be subject to additional fees.
